Two northwest Indiana men have been charged with conspiring to intimidate six witnesses involved in one of the men’s murder trial. Charles A. Taylor, 26; and Robert Chandler, 19, both of Gary, are charged with six counts each of conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice, according to a statement from Gary police. Taylor has been charged with murder, and the two men were conspiring to intimidate six witnesses involved in his trial, police said. As of Monday afternoon, Chandler was not in custody.
