A 24-year-old woman was critically wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in northwest Indiana. The woman was found with gunshot wounds inside a home in the 1500 block of Kentucky Street in Gary at 10:40 p.m., according to Gary Police Lt. Dawn Westerfield. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, then transferred to an Illinois hospital in critical condition, Westerfield said. It was later discovered the gunfire came from outside of the house, Westerfield said. No one else was injured....
